Gluten Free Protein Waffles

Recipe:

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 1/4 cup ground flax

  • 1/2 cup protein powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • pinch of salt

  • sprinkle of cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup nondairy yogurt

  • splash of vanilla

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)

  • 1/2 cup nondairy milk (might need a little more depending on the consistency)

  • -1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl

  2. Mix together all wet ingredients then add to the dry ingredients

  3. Fold in the chocolate chips (or any other mix-in you like!)

  4. Add the batter to a preheated waffle maker and cook according to the directions of your waffle maker

  5. Remove from the waffle maker and enjoy with an extra drizzle of maple syrup on top!
