Gluten Free Protein Waffles
Recipe:
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 cup ground flax
1/2 cup protein powder
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
sprinkle of cinnamon
1/4 cup nondairy yogurt
splash of vanilla
2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
1/2 cup nondairy milk (might need a little more depending on the consistency)
-1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl
Mix together all wet ingredients then add to the dry ingredients
Fold in the chocolate chips (or any other mix-in you like!)
Add the batter to a preheated waffle maker and cook according to the directions of your waffle maker
Remove from the waffle maker and enjoy with an extra drizzle of maple syrup on top!
