Best Banana Bread
This is the best banana bread you'll ever try! It's so moist and dense. Pairs perfectly with your favorite nut butter or sweet spreads! It is so simple to make and can easily be elevated with non-dairy chocolate chips or dried fruit! Hope you can give it a try!
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2/3 cup of sugar
- 3 tbs non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- In a large bowl mash the bananas with a fork to desired consistency (I like mine a little chunkier)
- Mix in the sugar, milk, and vanilla until well combined
- In a smaller bowl mix the dry ingredients together
- Add the dry to the wet and gently mix until combined (do not overmix)
- At this point you can fold in any 'extras' that you wish to add (chocolate chips, raisins, etc)
- Line a 8x4 loaf pan with parchment or you can coat with non-stick cooking spray
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan and level
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, insert a toothpick and if it comes out clean, it's done
- Let cool completley before slicing or removing from the pan
