Balsamic Marinated Tofu
Tofu is a staple for most people who are plant-based but also can be for anyone who wants to cut back on their meat intake! Making tofu that tastes good is not hard and this recipe is a great beginner way to elevate your plant protein!
Ingredients
1 block tofu
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
salt & pep to taste
Directions
Slice your firm tofu the way you want it! You can cube it, slice it thinly, etc
Mix the marinade ingredients in a container and add the tofu
Place the lid of the container and shake to combine
Marinate for at least 30 minutes
Heat up a pan or preheat the oven
Sautee in a pan on medium-high for 10 minutes, flipping half way. If baking, bake at 400 for 25 minutes! You can also air fry!
Enjoy with a pasta dish, in a buddha bowl, or on a sandwich!
