Balsamic Marinated Tofu

Tofu is a staple for most people who are plant-based but also can be for anyone who wants to cut back on their meat intake! Making tofu that tastes good is not hard and this recipe is a great beginner way to elevate your plant protein!

Ingredients

  • 1 block tofu

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • salt & pep to taste

Directions

  1. Slice your firm tofu the way you want it! You can cube it, slice it thinly, etc

  2. Mix the marinade ingredients in a container and add the tofu

  3. Place the lid of the container and shake to combine

  4. Marinate for at least 30 minutes

  5. Heat up a pan or preheat the oven

  6. Sautee in a pan on medium-high for 10 minutes, flipping half way. If baking, bake at 400 for 25 minutes! You can also air fry!

  7. Enjoy with a pasta dish, in a buddha bowl, or on a sandwich!
