Vegan Thanksgiving Stuffing
This tastes just like regular stuffing but better! It is pretty easy and defiantly and crowd pleaser. ring this to your Thanksgiving dinner and it will be a hit. Guaranteed.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of dried crusty bread, cubed
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbs flax meal
- 5 tbs water
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning (its vegan)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp thyme
- 4 carrots
- 3 stalks of celery
- 3 cups of vegetable stock
Directions:
- Cut bread into 1 inch cubes and bake for 7 minutes at 375
- Finely chop onions and sweat them down in a pan with (water or oil) for 5-10 minutes
- Add in garlic and spices, cook for another 2 minutes
- Chop carrots and celery fairly small
- Add those to the onions and cook for 5 minutes covered
- Combine flax with water and let sit for 5 minutes
- Add the toasted bread cubes to a large bowl
- Combine the carrot and onion mixture with the bread cubes
- Mix until everything is coated
- Add in veggie stock and flax eggs and mix well
- Lightly grease baking dish and add in mixture
- Bake for 20-30 minutes at 350
