Easy Vegan Gravy
Gravy is an essential element to any holiday meal. Sadly most gravy is not vegan for silly reasons. YOU DON'T NEED ANIMAL PRODUCTS TO HAVE A GREAT GRAVY!! It's the truth no matter what people tell you. This one takes 5 minutes to make and can be reheated easily. Serve this with mashed potatoes, stuffing, a cauliflower roast, the list goes on & on! Ingridients:
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 1/4 cup unsweetened non dairy milk
- 1/4 cup brown rice flour
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp tsp salt
- 1 tsp sage
- 1 /2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp rosemary
Directions:
- In a small sauce pan, heat up the broth and milk for 1 minute on high
- Whisk in the rice flour until there are no lumps visable
- Add in the spices & herbs and continue to whisk
- Once it has thickened slightly, remove from the heat and let sit for 1-2 minutes. It should get to the perfect pourable consistency. If it gels up slightly, place back on the heat for 1 minute and whisk constantly
