Pina Colada Smoothie Bowl
Pina Colada flavors are a classic and one of my favorite combos of fruit. Obviously minus the alcohol, this bowl is the famous drink in a new form. And even better might I add. Think and creamy and perfectly paired with some textured toppings like granola or extra coconut.
Ingredients:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 tsb shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1 date
- 1/4 cup soaked cashews, soaked for at least 4 hours (or other nut of choice)
- 2-5 tbs of coconut water or nondairy milk to help it blend (optional)
Toppings:
- Sliced banana
- Shredded coconut
- Hemp seeds
- Goji berries
Directions:
- Place all of your ingredients into a high speed blender
- Start to blend on low and work your way up if your bender has different speed settings
- Once everything is well blended and you see no chunks, continue to blend for another 30 seconds or so. You will see the volume go up as it gets fluffier
- Place in a bowl (my favorite are the coconut bowls) and top with your favorite toppings. Mine are listed in the ingredients above!
